There are various methods depending on the measurement purpose, but this device uses a cylindrical rotation method where approximately half of the sample is placed in a cylindrical container (500ml) and rotated at a constant low speed. Since the sample is completely isolated from the atmosphere, it does not absorb moisture or dry out, and measurements can also be conducted under reduced pressure or in a special atmosphere using the attached valve.
