"Isn't it good to have a copper mouse pad...?" This story began with a single line from an email from a colleague at the time. From there, it marked the start of my days of trial and error as a perfectionist. The round shape is my specialty at work. The design came to me easily. The name comes from the fact that it's a metal mouse pad, so I decided to call it a Metal Pad. Then, in August 1999, I made my debut online. In April 2005, the Metal Pad website became its third generation. In March 2007, I acquired my own domain and opened it anew as kanadou.jp. In March 2010, I entered the "Top 100 Takaoka Souvenirs" organized by the Takaoka Chamber of Commerce and received certification. I hope to continue to meet many Metal Pad fans in the future.
