■Composition of the Firing Film By firing a functional layer made of inorganic materials and a resin layer and adhesive layer made of organic materials at a temperature of 500°C or higher, the organic materials are thermally decomposed, allowing only the functional layer made of inorganic materials to be sintered onto the substrate. ■About the Functional Layer Through firing, only the inorganic materials of the functional layer are sintered onto glass, ceramics, or metals. Inorganic materials used in the functional layer can include metals, inorganic pigments, and ceramics. Different functions can be imparted depending on the materials used for the functional layer. - Conductive materials such as metals: antennas and high-temperature heaters - Black pigments: manufacturing management codes, product labeling, quality indicators, caution signs, etc. - Multicolored pigments: ceramic photographic images, etc. ■Achievements in Firing Processing The firing time for the substrate can accommodate both long and short durations. - Achievements with long firing times: formation of the partition wall in the plasma discharge section of plasma displays - Achievements with short firing times: antennas for automotive digital televisions We can handle intense stresses such as thermal expansion and contraction during heating and cooling while maintaining the product's characteristics, quality, and functions. ■Automotive Antenna The transfer film used for automotive digital TV antennas and FM antennas has a structure where the conductive layer is sandwiched between black layers, providing excellent design qualities. It is a film that allows for high-speed firing and simultaneous multi-layer firing tailored to the manufacturing line, capable of accommodating various antenna patterns. We also offer dedicated transfer devices. ■Design Labels for Glass This is a fired design label that enables high-speed automatic application using existing labelers without water adhesion or special treatments. It can create rich color tones and images that are difficult to express with conventional direct printing, such as multi-color and gradation effects. ■Electronic Components Leveraging the ability to create three-dimensional wiring on fine wires, uneven surfaces, curved surfaces, and edges, applications for LTC ceramic substrates and grid electrodes for solar cells are anticipated.
