Metallic putty is an epoxy resin-based repair agent formulated with high-purity aluminum powder, and after curing, it becomes a very hard cured material with a light gray color.
While demonstrating sufficient performance as a heat-resistant repair agent, machining and polishing can bring out a metallic luster. The gloss varies depending on the polishing method, and buffing results in a stainless steel-like metallic sheen.
