The Anybus X-gateway Modbus-TCP can connect Modbus-TCP devices to almost any PLC system. The X-gateway operates as a client (master) on the Modbus-TCP side and as a slave on the industrial network side. Setup and installation are easy, and no programming is required.

**Features** - Connects Modbus-TCP server devices to fieldbus and industrial Ethernet. - Provides client/master functionality on the Modbus-TCP side, while offering slave functionality on the fieldbus/industrial Ethernet side. - Enables high-speed I/O data communication between the two types of networks, with a conversion delay time of up to 5ms for high performance. - Supports copying and backing up configuration data using an SD card, making it very easy to replace the gateway. - Offers a two-port type compatible with all industrial Ethernet for daisy chaining. - Adopts the latest robust DIN rail mountable housing. Direct wall mounting is also possible with a wall mount adapter. - Achieved high environmental characteristics and various certifications through the use of a robust housing. - The configuration tool is very user-friendly and web-based, requiring no programming or scripting. - Status information of Modbus-TCP server devices connected to the lower network can be provided to the PLC of the upper network using a live list.
