Newly developed MLSS detector with reference light
● Newly developed MLSS detector with reference light Equipped with a reference light sensor that constantly monitors the brightness of the LED, this high-performance MLSS detector automatically corrects measurement errors due to variations in light intensity caused by LED degradation or temperature changes. ● Near-infrared high-sensitivity MLSS detector unaffected by external light ● Shock-absorbing rubber for the detector ● Simultaneous measurement of MLSS and water depth (interface) with a single unit MLSS and water depth (interface) are displayed simultaneously, and near the set sludge concentration, the display's "ALM" and "mg/l" indicators blink to signal the sludge interface. ● Selectable measurement modes for different applications Based on 30 years of accumulated technology and rich data, measurement modes that are linearized for specific applications can be selected, and zero and span four-point calibration can also be performed on-site. ● Examples: - Dairy and food sludge mode - Food sludge mode - Combined sewage treatment tank mode - Sewage treatment sludge mode - Excreta treatment sludge mode - Settled concentrated sludge mode

basic information
The signal from the MLSS detector, consisting of a near-infrared LED light source, a reference light receiving element for controlling LED brightness consistently, a transmitted light receiving element, and a water pressure sensor, is processed and amplified to simultaneously display the sludge concentration and the depth of the sludge interface. Furthermore, it can issue sludge interface alarms and determine the distribution state of the sludge layer.

Applications/Examples of results
■Selection of Measurement Mode by Purpose Equipped with six calibration curves backed by abundant data, you can select the appropriate measurement mode for your measurements. ■Simultaneous Measurement of MLSS and Interface (Water Depth) Simultaneously measure the concentration of activated sludge in the aeration tank and the concentration of sludge or sludge interface (water depth) in the sedimentation tank with a single device. The sludge interface is indicated by blinking "ALM," "mg/L," and "m." ■Water-Resistant Pressure Sensor for Water Depth (Interface) Measurement The new pressure sensor in the detector is made of stainless steel. It is trouble-free even when submerged in water for long periods. It allows for stable continuous measurement of water depth (interface) and MLSS concentration over extended periods.
