basic information
**Lecture Summary** This seminar will focus on operation and equipment design methods as well as simulator development methods, explaining key points through examples ranging from fundamental knowledge to cutting-edge information. The design methods for adsorption operations and equipment have already been developed, and the separation method using fixed bed columns can still be utilized with conventional techniques. However, it will also be explained that, in current separations using pseudo-moving beds, PSA, and honeycomb-type equipment, the measurement of physical properties related to adsorption equilibrium and kinetics has become more important than ever. Additionally, practical examples will be presented regarding labor-saving (cost-reducing) measures in adsorption property measurements, using part of a program developed by the author for students to conduct exercises.
