Tunnel emergency equipment water supply main WEET-AP - Excellent fire resistance!
High-performance polyethylene pipes suitable for emergency tunnel equipment and fire-fighting water supply mains!
The composite pipe enhances internal pressure strength and suppresses creep. The anti-corrosion layer protects the polyethylene conduit from external damage and UV degradation, maintaining pipe performance over a long period. It has been included in the common specifications of NEXCO (as of July 2019). Nominal diameter: W75 to W350 【Features】 ● Excellent characteristics of polyethylene pipes ・Lightweight and flexible. ・Superior earthquake resistance. ・Low friction, allowing for downsizing of pipe dimensions. (Note: Hydraulic calculations need to be verified.) ・Corrosion-resistant. ○ Utilizing the above characteristics of polyethylene pipes, we have developed an advanced composite polyethylene pipe reinforced with aramid fibers using our unique technology, which has been registered in NETIS. NEXCO Common Specifications for Mechanical Equipment Construction "Fiber-Reinforced Polyethylene Pipe (FRPE) Target Product" ○ It has already been adopted for the new installation and renewal work of emergency water supply mains in tunnels such as the Shin-Tomei Expressway. It is also used as the water supply main for fire protection equipment in the Central Circular Shinjuku Line tunnel.
