The μVISC series is a compact and entirely new innovative differential pressure micro viscometer. The μVISC-S is a micro viscometer developed with the basic motif of "extremely pursued ease of operation," eliminating complicated parameter settings and automatically determining the optimal measurement conditions. The operation involves simply setting the filled dedicated sample container into the main unit and pressing the start button, after which the measurement results are displayed on the screen in about one minute. Like the higher model μVISC, this viscometer can measure viscosity with approximately 100 μl of micro sample. Additionally, despite being a budget version, it guarantees the same measurement accuracy and reproducibility as the μVISC. It is expected to reduce research and development costs through savings on raw materials and sample disposal fees, as well as cost reductions in lot testing of raw materials and products due to sample savings.
