Waterleaf mitigates the reduction of drainage capacity of grating caused by fallen leaves by installing guide slopes on the grating.
Fallen leaves in green belts and parks gather in grates due to rain and wind. The leaves that accumulate in the grates pile up around the grates, obstructing drainage. In the case of Waterleaf, the leaves are pushed out by the force of the water. [In the case of conventional products] Leaves get caught at the edges of the grates and accumulate as they are. The leaves cover the area around the grates, allowing water to pass through the grates. [In the case of Waterleaf] Leaves are pushed towards the center of the grates by water flowing down the slope. Since the guide slope section is always open, it allows for sufficient drainage of rainwater.

basic information
Leaves accumulated at the edge of the grating can obstruct drainage. In the case of water leaf, by pushing the leaves to the center of the grating, there are two advantages: "an opening is always created" and "the accumulation of leaves increases." 1. Leaves are pushed by the water flowing down the slope and accumulate in the center of the grating. 2. Even when leaves flow in afterward, this effect continues. 3. Since the guide slope section is always open, it is possible to adequately drain rainwater.
