Open columns are often used for easy separation and purification. However, the time required for concentration and separation has been a problem. This column connector (cap) overcomes that drawback. With a one-touch attachment to the column, the open column can be sealed. There is a connection port for air tubes for pressurization and depressurization, allowing for easy pressurized and depressurized separation with the open column, significantly reducing separation time. Customization of caps compatible with your disposable columns is also possible upon special order. Caps can be provided at the same price for orders of five or more. The 50ml centrifuge tube can be used as a reagent container or a reservoir for column elution liquid.

This is a column co-cap specifically designed for Bio-Rad's Econo-Pac columns. By attaching it to the column, it enables automatic feeding of sample and cleaning solutions into the column. It is an optimal connector for improving the efficiency of column separation, overcoming the limitations of open columns. Surprisingly, it can also be used as a reagent cap for 50ml centrifuge tubes, significantly enhancing the functionality of the 50ml centrifuge tubes that have traditionally been used for various tasks. The material is Duracon, which has high solvent resistance. We have also newly added autoclaveable PEEK column caps to our lineup. For inquiries about caps, please contact us.
