The USB host controller receives data from a barcode reader that conforms to the HID (Human Interface Device) class, a standard USB specification, and after branching to two USB target controllers, sends the data as a USB HID keyboard to the PCs connected to each. [No device driver required, OS-independent] By using the standard USB keyboard driver of your PC's OS, it does not depend on the type or version of the OS, and there is no need to install a dedicated device driver; you can use it immediately by simply connecting it.
