- Arc interpolation between any two axes and linear interpolation between any two to four axes is possible. Linear interpolation of five or more axes among multiple LSIs is also possible. - By applying pre-registers, continuous interpolation operations from arc to linear to arc, etc., can be realized. - Maximum output frequency: 6.5Mpps (PCL6046: 10Mpps). - Up/down counters: 4 per axis built-in. All counters can latch and reset counter values based on signal input, fulfillment of operating conditions, and command writing, making them suitable for a wide variety of applications. - Comparators: 5 per axis built-in. By utilizing comparators and counters, the following operations are possible: - Interrupt output, external output of comparison results. - Start via internal synchronization signals. - Immediate stop of operation or deceleration stop. - Automatic speed change during operation. - Soft limit function. - Stepper motor stall detection. - Synchronization signal output. - Ring count function. - Override of speed and target position during operation is possible. - Built-in pre-registers (two stages) for writing data for the next operation (movement amount, speed, operation mode, etc.) during operation.
