The EGE company's flow switch is equipped with two thermistors inside the sensor. The two thermistors are constantly supplied with a fixed amount of heat from the amplifier. Thermistor R2 is covered with a resin that has poor thermal conductivity and is maintained at a constant amount of heat. Meanwhile, thermistor R1 is cooled in accordance with the flow rate of the fluid flowing through the pipe, resulting in a difference in heat between R2 and R1. This difference in heat is used to determine the flow rate.
