In March 2002, Orient Ecology Co., Ltd. was established to engage in business areas related to "water," with a focus on the Earth's environment in the 21st century. The toilet business started with the sale of unit-type portable toilets that can be used at construction sites and events, but after various technological improvements, it is now sold nationwide as a "self-processing toilet" that considers natural environments without discharging treated water, starting in national parks such as Yakushima and Shiretoko, as well as in river parks and as disaster response toilets. In the agriculture business, we have been involved in business feasibility studies, planning, design, and construction at the "Futtsu Aqua Farm," which opened in September 2002, and we continue to provide guidance on strawberry cultivation using mineral nutrient solutions. Furthermore, in the environmental business, we have achieved many results in experiments related to lake water quality purification and odor control.
