The innovative sensor's operating element (piston), based on the free-fall principle, performs reciprocating motion through electromagnetic movement within the fluid in the measurement chamber. The piston operates within the liquid that flows into the measurement chamber, and the time required for its reciprocating motion is analyzed and converted into absolute viscosity. Additionally, the built-in temperature sensor continuously outputs the actual temperature data within the chamber, contributing to the calculation of temperature-corrected viscosity (TCV). The piston’s reciprocating motion continuously facilitates the inflow and outflow of fluid, and all wetted components are made of stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance.

VISCOpro 1600 is a small inline viscometer with a built-in temperature sensor. It outputs analog and serial data, continuously monitoring viscosity and temperature. It can also display various viscosity units. The measurement chamber features an automatic self-cleaning system that continuously facilitates the inflow and outflow of fluids. The sensor and signal output transmitter are housed in an ATEX explosion-proof enclosure.

VISCOpro 2000 This device is easy to operate with a menu selection system and can display viscosity, temperature, and temperature-corrected viscosity (TCV), with the option to also display density data. The measurement range can accurately accommodate from 0.2 to 20,000 cP across 13 factory-set ranges.
