By granulating and solidifying the sludge, it reduces volume and stabilizes it, while also improving handling properties!
Sludge generally refers to a muddy substance that contains moisture. It can be found in treatment facilities for factory wastewater generated during various manufacturing processes, as well as in sedimentation tanks of water treatment facilities such as sewage treatment plants and water purification plants. Additionally, it can be found in civil engineering and construction sites, as well as settled at the bottoms of drainage channels, rivers, and lakes. It is said that the amount of sludge generated accounts for one-third of all industrial waste. At Toei, we reduce volume and stabilize sludge by granulating and solidifying it, which also improves its handling properties. The granulated and solidified material can be recycled as civil engineering materials for ancillary road construction and backfilling at civil engineering and construction sites. Furthermore, when used in combination with glass granulated sand "Sand Wave G" or gypsum from gypsum boards, the recycling effect can be further enhanced. Company information
Toei Corporation is engaged in the business of extracting materials that can be utilized as recycled resources. We identify not only iron and non-ferrous metals but also wood, glass, plastic, sludge, and various other materials as recyclable resources. We aim for true resource circulation by introducing the necessary technologies and unique equipment. We have also developed a business that processes colored glass pins, which were previously difficult to recycle, into glass granule sand "Sand Wave G," and we are further expanding our business in the recycling of laminated glass. In terms of plastic recycling, we strive to improve the quality of recycled materials through daily technological innovations, aiming to become a manufacturer of recycled materials to contribute to the promotion of material recycling. Additionally, we have established a system flow for recycling inorganic sludge into civil engineering materials. We have acquired various technologies for the rehabilitation of aging sewer pipes and are tackling this with cutting-edge technology. In the field of home appliance recycling, we have quickly taken on the recycling of small appliances in addition to four other categories, and our transactions with local governments are expanding year by year. Regarding our traditional businesses, we intend to leverage our past experiences, keep a mindset of innovation, and strive to be a company that brings joy and meets the expectations of everyone.
