The manual range switch supports a wide range of illuminance measurements from 0 to 400,000 Lux / 40,000 foot-candles (fc). Illuminance is displayed in both numerical and bar graph formats. The DT-1308 automatically compensates for differences in light sources, allowing for illuminance measurements with any type of light source, including tungsten bulbs, fluorescent lamps, mercury lamps, and sodium lamps.
