The "power communication devices from Sumitomo Electric" refer to devices that connect older communication standard power meters to the internal Ethernet of power companies, as well as devices for proprietary optical networks of power companies. The "custom PC programs required for the sale of NEC San-ei measuring instruments" are programs used to operate measuring instruments in a customer-specific manner when installed on inspection or manufacturing lines, utilizing a PC as a controller. Subsequently, due to the integration of customer business divisions and economic downturns, work decreased, leading to the search for new clients, which resulted in a focus on devices for railways.
