Temposonics sensors are durable non-contact absolute linear scales that use magnetostrictive technology, designed to withstand harsh environments such as shock, vibration, and temperature. They offer high precision (0.5μm) and robustness (shock resistance of 100G, vibration resistance of 30G, IP68/69K, pressure resistance of 80MPa, CE compliant), and are equipped with a variety of interfaces (analog, SSI, CANbus, Profibus, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profinet RT, etc.). They are waterproof, capable of measuring lengths up to 20m, can perform multi-point simultaneous measurements at up to 20 locations, and are suitable for explosion-proof applications, making them versatile for a wide range of uses.
