"Sonoscout" is an NVH recorder that allows you to collect and verify noise and vibration data in vehicles using an iPad. Its portability and the fact that it does not require a PC have received positive feedback. The connection between the iPad and the data collection front end is wireless, so there is no need to worry about wiring. It is ideal for the first stage of data collection.
