The DVI/RS232C/IR Extender DVI-EXW/EVI-EPXW extends uncompressed video (DVI/HDMI) such as 1920×1200, 1080p, 3D, and 4Kx2K (@30fps) up to 100 meters using a single Cat5e/6 cable. Since the video is uncompressed, there is no degradation in image quality due to compression and extension, and the delay time is very short. It also extends RS232C (bidirectional) and IR (infrared). No software installation or configuration is required; it operates simply by connecting the cable and AC adapter. The AC adapter jack features a lock to prevent it from falling out.
