6.6kV Distribution Lightning Arrester General Use GL-B6G-T, GL-B6G
GL-B6-T (Direct Wire Type), GL-B6G (LA Connector Connection Type)
Specifications for the Kanto and Tohoku regions require LA connector type connections. Compliant with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's standard specifications for public building construction, JEC-2374:2015.
The most standard lightning arrester that does not allow continuous current to flow due to non-linear resistance using high-performance elements. *Rated voltage: Available for 4.2 kV (GL-B3G-T, GL-B3G). It protects equipment from lightning surges that invade from high voltage and extra high voltage distribution lines. Compliant with JEC standards. Supports up to 3.3 kV and 6.6 kV. Manufactured by Otowa Electric Industry, a specialist in lightning protection products, including lightning arresters (arresters, SPD, LA, surge protectors, etc.), lightning countermeasure products, lightning surge countermeasure products, and induced lightning countermeasures.

basic information
*Features* 1. Due to the nonlinear resistive characteristics of the ZnO element, it is suitable for protecting against severe lightning surges. 2. Excellent protection performance The limiting voltage is significantly lower than the JEC standard value, which expands the protection range. 3. Long-term use without maintenance or inspection The completely sealed structure makes maintenance and inspection almost unnecessary.

Company information
OTOWA is the only manufacturer in Japan specializing in lightning protection, having explored "lightning" since its founding. We want to create a safe and secure society where people are not afraid of the natural threat of "lightning." We will realize this wish with our advanced lightning protection systems. ◆ A wide range of product lineup We offer a variety of products, including surge protectors for power distribution, as well as those for offices, factories, railway vehicles, and general households. We also accommodate custom orders, so please feel free to consult with us. ◆ Consulting for lightning protection Lightning protection varies depending on various conditions such as location. OTOWA will propose the most suitable lightning protection measures for those conditions. ◆ World-class "lightning" testing facilities Using top-class testing equipment and a variety of testing facilities, we conduct product evaluation tests and development in-house. Our achievements are highly regarded, and we also accept contract testing (Lightning Technology Center). ◆ Unique quality of zinc oxide devices We produce zinc oxide (ZnO) devices under strict management. These devices are the heart of surge protective devices (SPDs) and are essential for lightning protection.
