The ISO 2.25 capture thrust air bearing spindle from PI is ideal for applications that require high speed and ultra-high precision, such as fly cutting, raster fly cutting, internal grinding, and optical element molds. By incorporating a brushless DC motor integrated with the spindle and PI's unique groove compensation method, it achieves very smooth and stable rotation even at high speeds of 50,000 min^-1, along with high rigidity and high load capacity.
