Information-based construction using robots and AI technology.
The remote operation of unmanned heavy machinery presents challenges in achieving smooth and real-time communication between multiple moving machines and operators. The predecessor of Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., "Shin Shakai System Research Institute," implemented unmanned construction systems in over 50 locations, including the volcanic disaster of Mount Unzen-Fugen in Nagasaki Prefecture, as well as Mount Usu, Miyake Island, and Mount Oyama. Not only for disaster response, but construction sites, plants, and harsh outdoor work can be conducted from a comfortable and safe control room with air conditioning. This helps address labor shortages by reducing the number of workers in 3K workplaces and improving labor conditions.
