Gigabit optical (SFP) media converter characterized by low latency.
The FRM220-1000TS is a transparent type Gigabit media converter with low latency, featuring SFP ports for 1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX/ZX. By housing it in a FRM220 series chassis equipped with an NMC, it can be used as a managed converter, or it can be housed as a standalone converter without management functionality. The SFP modules that can be inserted are not limited to LC types; SC types and various specifications such as multimode/single mode and 2-core/1-core can be selected according to the application. This media converter is fully transparent to Ethernet packets, supporting frames of any size, including small packets and jumbo packets (9K bytes). The LED indicators allow you to check the power status, UTP port speed/link, full/half duplex status, and the link and duplex status of the FX port.
