Given its reasonable price, it offers a well-balanced combination of excellent properties, allowing for potential improvements in functionality and cost reduction by replacing other materials previously used, depending on the application. Furthermore, with a specific gravity of about 1.8, for example, in situations where stainless steel (specific gravity ≈ 8.0) parts are used for rust and corrosion prevention, replacing them with this material can achieve nearly 80% weight reduction.
