When moving steel plate coils with a crane, a resin guide was used between the product and the crane to prevent scratches. However, the guide was heavy and prone to falling off or cracking due to impact, and its lifespan was shortened due to thermal degradation. Despite testing various resins, we have not found a satisfactory solution, and we received a request to select resin materials suitable for the intended use. 1. It breaks due to impact when the crane and product come into contact. 2. The guide itself falls off due to the impact during the crane's start and stop. 3. It comes into contact with the product immediately after cold rolling, leading to thermal degradation.

We selected and proposed a foam polyolefin (polypropylene) that meets three conditions: it prevents detachment, reduces costs, has impact resistance, and heat resistance. (Product name: Palonia Super) 1. We chose a lightweight foam resin that does not detach even when using standard magnets, with heat resistance up to 90°C and high impact resistance. 2. After selecting the material, since the impact force cannot be quantified, we requested testing with sample products and simultaneously confirmed the heat resistance. 3. To minimize costs and customer effort, we will carry out processing and assembly, delivering it as a finished product.
