We proposed extending the lifespan and significantly reducing the running costs of rotary valves by applying surface treatment processing with hard metal to the structure. 1. Rotary valves are less likely to experience seal degradation due to frequent opening and closing operations or thermal effects. 2. Since wear resistance measures are not standard products, Kamata Industries will perform surface treatment processing with hard metal for delivery. Specifications: Cobalt-based thermal spraying on the tip of the rotary propeller, and tungsten carbide-based high-velocity thermal spraying on the inner surface of the valve casing. 3. The unit price of the product is more than double, but the lifespan is several times longer (currently about four times), resulting in cost savings. 4. This will reduce replacement work time, labor, and downtime, leading to significant cost reductions.
