The cosmetics company has decided to convert the workroom into a clean room. They were considering changing the entry from a simple double door to passing through an air shower from the changing room to the workroom. Initially, a method was proposed to arrange two-row air showers in three columns, but it was not possible to secure the installation space. A method was proposed to install five-row air showers in an L-shape to save space. Additionally, allowing 200 people to enter using the conventional method of stopping to be blown clean would take a considerable amount of time, so a walking type air shower was proposed, where individuals can walk through and become clean. During passage, they can receive air blows from multiple directions for a total of 15 seconds without the need to stop. As a result, 200 people can pass through continuously, significantly reducing the time required for entry. However, with this method, when 200 people pass through continuously, both the entrance and exit doors of the air shower room would be open at the same time, posing a risk of blown dust entering the workroom. Therefore, the air supply fan of the air shower was specially enlarged to increase the intake capacity. Additionally, the direction of the air blow was adjusted, and the design specifications were set to minimize turbulence, thereby minimizing the inflow of dust into the workroom.
