The SM303 is used for applications in fluorescence, Raman, and LED inspection, aiming for a high signal-to-noise ratio and high dynamic range in UV/VIS/NIR spectroscopy. The back-illuminated CCD has excellent sensitivity in the UV range. It measures from 200nm to 1050nm with minimal stray light (with a smaller measurement window, spectral resolution and sensitivity increase). The TE-cooled detector allows for measurements of weak light with reduced noise levels. The SM303 can achieve high dynamic range and low noise measurements for radiometric measurement applications.
