By setting a weekly schedule for 24 hours that is built into the PoE switch, you can control the power supply of devices that receive PoE. In line with the energy-saving era, for devices like wireless APs, IP cameras, and IP phones that are not involved in monitoring operations, turning off the power during office downtime can contribute to CO2 reduction and enhance security. Additionally, there is a problem with devices that operate on PoE power: when they freeze unexpectedly despite functioning normally, it can lead to communication or control issues, requiring support engineers to travel on-site for power resets, which incurs significant costs. By implementing life-and-death monitoring of receiving devices, frozen devices can be automatically restarted from the switch side, thereby significantly reducing such incidents.

Combo configuration means that the ports can operate in a combination where either an SFP or RJ-45 port can be used. In other words, in addition to the 8 ports, there are 2 RJ-45 ports available, allowing for a maximum of 10 ports to be used (PoE is available on 8 ports only). There are three possible combinations: using one RJ-45 and one SFP port, using two SFP ports, or using both RJ-45 and SFP ports. - 24-port 10/100/1000Base-T + 4-port 1G/10G SFP managed PoE switch "SM24TAT4XA" (standard price ¥276,000). When supplying 15.4W PoE, all 24 ports can be used. Note that simultaneous use of the 30W class is limited to a maximum of 12 ports. The SFP ports automatically recognize 10G or 1G and provide open slots.
