The particularly excellent characteristics of Valiseal are as follows: - Very low friction coefficient - Excellent dynamic and static sealing performance - Sealing performance at high speeds of 15 m/s (2,940 fpm) - Chemical resistance to almost all media - Temperature range: -253°C to +300°C (-432°F to +572°F) - Extremely excellent heat resistance - Maintains permanent elasticity even when in contact with chemical liquids - Does not undergo aging degradation - Low compression set - When used with backup rings, can withstand high pressures of 200 MPa (2,000 bar, 29,000 psi) - Very good dry running characteristics - Can be assembled into grooves compliant with AS 4716 (formerly MIL-G-5514F) and DIN 3771
