However, the amount of radiation varies depending on the material and surface condition, resulting in differences in energy levels even at the same temperature. In non-contact thermometers, the infrared radiation emitted by the measurement target is not distinguished from disturbances, and both are measured together as the energy amount of the target object. The dual thermo measures the accurate temperature of the target object using a contact sensor and utilizes that data to determine the emissivity.
