Among the FREA-METAL alloys, "B" is a unique alloy that precipitates high-hardness fine fibrous chromium carbide as eutectic carbide within the matrix, which does not decompose even in high-temperature environments of 1000°C. It is an alloy that has been metallurgically strengthened with fibrous chromium carbide, which has a high hardness of HV1400-1500, throughout the entire thickness of the iron-based matrix, demonstrating overwhelming wear resistance against severe erosive wear at high temperatures, successfully providing a long service life compared to existing high-temperature materials.
