Plastic windows are optically colorless and transparent, and are made from resin that possesses sufficient resistance even in harsh usage environments. Traditional plastic materials had performance limitations for optical applications, but recent technological advancements have made it possible to manufacture plastic materials that meet optical and environmental requirements. This product can replace glass windows at about half the weight. Made from Thermoset ADC, this product has a higher transmittance and 25 to 50 times greater abrasion resistance compared to conventional plastic windows. It also excels in chemical and solvent resistance (to acetone, acids, alkalis, and alcohols). When drilling, the use of high-speed carbide drills is recommended.
