The TECHSPEC OD2 long pass filter is a filter that cuts short wavelengths while allowing long wavelengths to pass through. The TECHSPEC OD2 long pass filter is designed with a thin film to ensure a sharp transition from the blocking band to the pass band. It offers steep characteristics that cannot be achieved with conventional long pass filters that use filter glass substrates. It is also ideal for creating custom band pass filters when combined with the TECHSPEC OD2 short pass filter. A single AR coating is applied to the back side of the substrate, reducing unwanted back reflections from the rear side and contributing to improved transmission efficiency.
