basic information
TECHSPEC hot mirrors are coated with a dielectric multilayer film that reflects over 95% of near-infrared wavelengths while transmitting over 85% of visible light. Hot mirrors are primarily used in projector systems and lighting systems. The dielectric multilayer film deposited on the substrate reflects harmful infrared radiation (thermal light) while allowing visible light to pass through. When used with high-output lighting, it is recommended to use it in conjunction with forced air cooling systems. For custom sizes and bulk pricing, please consult us separately.
