basic information
Broadband hot mirrors are designed to maximize the prevention of infrared (IR) transmission while allowing visible light (VIS) to pass through without loss in optical systems. They function similarly to traditional hot mirrors from Edmund Optics, but the reflected near-infrared wavelength range is broader. Standard hot mirrors control the reflected wavelength range from around 750nm to 1250nm, whereas this product controls the long wavelength side up to about 1750nm.
