We have changed the reflective metal film used in the blazed diffraction grating from aluminum coating to gold coating (without a protective film). The aluminum coating has poor reflectivity in the near-infrared range of 700 to 1100 nm, so if you want to improve efficiency in this wavelength range, we recommend using a diffraction grating with a gold coating (which improves diffraction efficiency by about 15 to 20% in the aforementioned wavelength range). This is an optimal choice for applications such as setups using optical fibers or silicon detectors in spectroscopic systems.
