The focus-adjustable collimator consists of two independent components: a collimator for fiber and a refocus assembly for fiber. The fiber collimator uses a plano-convex lens, with the lens positioned at a distance equal to the focal length from the exit end of the optical fiber. The fiber collimator is available with either FC or SMA connectors and can be easily coupled with standard optical fiber cables with NA=0.22. The focus-adjustable collimator can suppress the beam divergence to the ratio of the fiber core diameter to the collimator's aperture size by expanding the beam. The refocus assembly for fiber is directly fixed to the fiber collimator, allowing for optimal focus adjustment for each irradiation distance.
