Laser beam expander with a slide-type beam expansion adjustment mechanism. Available for laser lines and broadband lasers.
The TECHSPEC Draconis Beam Expander eliminates the need for critical alignment work to achieve diffraction-limited performance for large incident beam diameters. The focus adjustment mechanism is also used for correcting the divergence of the outgoing beam and for collimation. Additionally, the optical design prevents ghost images from forming within the optical system, enabling compatibility with high-power lasers. The laser entry side of the barrel features a male C-mount (1-32UNF), while the opposite exit side has a male T-mount (M42 x 0.75). This allows for connectivity with tube system parts that adopt the same mount. ■ For laser lines: Designed for Nd:YAG laser wavelengths of 532nm and 1064nm ■ For broadband lasers: Compatible with broadband tunable lasers ■ Available in fixed magnifications of 3X to 10X ■ Internal optical elements do not rotate, minimizing beam jitter *You can download the catalog featuring this product from Edmund Optics Japan below.
