As greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, methane, and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) are mentioned, among which sulfur hexafluoride is widely used in power-related processes and as an insulating gas in semiconductors. In terms of global warming potential, if carbon dioxide is set at 1, sulfur hexafluoride is 22,800. In recent years, efforts have been made by various companies to prevent the release of sulfur hexafluoride into the atmosphere by installing recovery devices and other measures.
