The Roland SND40 uses a non-contact eddy current and leakage magnetic flux sensor to detect weld seams on pipes with diameters ranging from 10 to 500 mm, both ferrous and non-ferrous, as well as on metal sheet coils. The angle at which the pipe material stops rotating at the weld can be specified. 【Advantages】 ◎ Detection of weld seams that cannot be recognized by visual sensors ◎ Utilizes two technological elements: magnetic flux and eddy currents * A full circumference coil suitable for metal rods, wires, and cables is also available, accommodating a variety of materials. ★ The manufacturing of coil materials and other long materials (cables and wires) results in elongated products (metal coil materials are welded at the ends, and cable materials use joints), necessitating automatic detection of weld seams. ★ In the case of tubes, cans, or drums, automatic detection of weld seams is required along with positioning the material for subsequent processing.
