Analog Input Module ND-6024
ADLINK's NuDAM data acquisition module constitutes a comprehensive acquisition network and control system. Up to 256 NuDAM modules can communicate over a single serial RS-232 connection to an RS-485 network from a host computer, enabling communication over distances of up to 4000 feet. Based on an RS-485 multi-drop network system, each module has a unique address ID that allows it to be controlled via a simple ASCII command and response protocol through a standard RS-485 interface, enabling control of all NuDAM modules within the RS-485 network. The NuDAM modules provide direct communication with various sensors that perform all signal conditioning, scaling, linearization, and conversion, allowing for the acquisition of measurements for temperature, pressure, flow, voltage, current, and multiple types of digital signals.
