One-letter drill sharpening machine for diameters from 7mm to 32mm. Anyone can easily sharpen a one-letter drill with a second relief. Can also sharpen carbide drills by replacing with SDC wheels.
The Fast Tech Drill Grinder can be used by anyone from beginners to veterans to grind drills from 7mm to 32mm into an optimal shape for thin plate drilling. Additionally, by grinding the second relief angle, it can be ground into a split point (X-shining), making it a revolutionary drill grinding machine. By holding the drill in a collet holder and positioning it, you only need to insert it into the grinding unit to grind the shape, the second relief angle, and the split point (X-shining). The holder with built-in bearings, using our unique patented technology, prevents collet wear, so there is no concern about drill misalignment. You can also adjust the chisel width by adjusting the second grinding unit. Broken drills that are not being used in the factory and drills that have become dull can be easily revived, contributing to cost reduction and streamlining within the company. A CBN wheel for HSS drills is included as standard, but if you use the optional SDC wheel, it is also possible to grind carbide drills. ■ It is ideal for re-sharpening drills for thin plates such as steel plates, steel frames, and H-shaped steel. ■ When drilling through holes in thin plates with a regular drill, burrs appear on the back side, but by using a drill sharpened to a chisel shape, the occurrence of burrs can be suppressed. ■ The optimal thickness of steel plates for holes with a chisel shape sharpening is up to half the diameter of the hole being drilled. For example, if the plate thickness is 10 mm, a drill sharpened to a chisel shape is suitable for drilling holes with a diameter of 5.0 mm or less.

Steel frame drill sharpening machine thinning shape This is the cutting edge shape of drills sharpened with the EPDG-320 steel frame drill sharpening machine. Not only is the candle blade (flat grinding) well sharpened, but the secondary relief angle is also properly ground, resulting in a split point (X thinning) at the tip. Due to its excellent bite, no pilot hole is necessary.

Equipped with bearings to prevent collet wear When tightening the collet, the collet holder experiences very strong forces, which can lead to wear over long-term use. If this part wears down, it can cause misalignment in the collet, potentially resulting in misalignment of the drill bit as well. To avoid this situation, bearings are incorporated. Additionally, the grinding unit of the drill grinder itself is also equipped with bearings.
