The "NW/KF (Klein Flange) standard" consists of piping fitting components used in the vacuum field, ranging from low vacuum to high vacuum areas. By placing an O-ring between flanges of the same size and tightening them with a clamp, a vacuum can be maintained. The clamps of the NW/KF standard are attached to the flanges by swinging a pair of aluminum bodies and tightening them with butterfly screws.
