Features of Ball Splines High Load Capacity Ball splines utilize precision-ground rolling surfaces with a 40° Gothic arch contact angle, resulting in a significant load capacity for both radial loads and rated torque due to the increased contact angle. Zero Play in Rotational Direction The spline shaft and spline outer cylinder consist of a contact angle of 40° with two-row and four-row ball arrangements. By properly adjusting the pre-load, the play in the rotational direction can be reduced to zero, enhancing rigidity. High Performance The ball in the raceway is composed of unique contact points, providing high rigidity along with high performance and low friction for energy savings. High Rigidity The raceway has a large contact angle (40°), which allows for high rigidity. Additionally, by applying appropriate pre-load, excellent torque rigidity and moment rigidity can be achieved. Ease of Assembly Thanks to a special design, the balls do not fall out even when the spline outer cylinder is removed from the spline shaft. This makes assembly, maintenance, and inspection easier.
