The MDI "Multi Cyclone" removes debris by being installed upstream, reducing the load and maintenance frequency on main filters and heat exchangers. As a device that utilizes centrifugal separation, it does not require cleaning or replacement of filter media. It does not reduce the flow rate to the main equipment. It can continuously separate solids up to 20 microns and powders heavier than water without a filter. It maintains the prevention of dirt accumulation on downstream equipment. When dirt accumulates in the clear tank, simply open the valve to discharge the dirt. There is no need to stop the pump or replace cartridge filters. [Applications] Protection of water-cooled chiller condensers, reduction of backwash water volume by installation upstream of sand filters, rust removal from mold circulation water lines, separation of volcanic ash, removal of sand from well water, removal of iron powder from machine tool cutting fluids, and pre-filtration for heat recovery from aquaculture wastewater. The "Multi Cyclone" series offers three types with maximum flow rates of 300 liters, 500 liters, and 1500 liters per minute.
