Positioning sensor: for determining movement direction and passing counter as well.
SW-2507F/PS-4482 Positioning Sensor (Magnetic Sensor Magnetic Switch) 4ch MACOME CORPORATION
It can be used for measuring the number of times a magnet passes and for positioning equipment. It is also suitable for detecting and adjusting the position of elevator cars. There is a YouTube video available, and it is non-contact.
One target (magnetic material or magnet) switches output three or four signals. Detection of the rotation direction of the rotating body. Detection of the rotation speed of the rotating body; it can also perform addition and subtraction, which helps prevent chattering. All outputs are individual transistor outputs, making them easy to handle. I think you can grasp the concept by watching the YouTube video.
